Several of our high school artists were featured at the ARTprenticeship Exhibit at the Washington Gallery, showcasing their original artwork and incredible summer talents.
Continuing a proud tradition of our students participating in this wonderful program, this year's cohort earned their spots in ARTprenticeship, a highly competitive summer internship hosted by Creative Waco. Throughout the summer, these young artists worked alongside local professional mentors, collaborated to restore a historic Waco mural, and brought their own unique visions to life through original pieces displayed at Saturday’s exhibition.

Taking part in a competitive professional internship requires serious dedication, courage, and a strong work ethic. Over the course of the program, these students displayed tremendous growth in their artistic technique and personal confidence as creators. By stepping outside their comfort zones to restore public art together and share their personal work in a professional gallery setting, they truly embodied our core value of Creativity!
