Ravens Families,

Earlier today, our school administration met with the UIL Realignment and Redistricting Committee in Round Rock to appeal our recent move to 3A. We advocated strongly for our school, presenting data on our unique enrollment and the long-term commitment our student-athletes have shown to the RAPS community.

Ultimately, the committee voted to deny the appeal. This means our school will compete in 3A for Athletics, Academics, and Music for the next two years.

Our focus remains on the success of our students and the continued growth of our athletic and academic programs. We are proud of our community and of the students who represent us. 

The new district alignments, which begin in the fall of 2026 are listed below:

3A Volleyball District: Clifton • Hamilton • Lorena • McGregor • Troy • West

3A Basketball District: Clifton • Lorena • McGregor • Troy • West • Whitney
