The Rapoport High School Art Club received 2^nd place for the chalk street mural they created for the Chalk Waco 2022 event hosted by Creative Waco on May 14-15 in downtown Waco. The art was sponsored by GGA Pest Management and features a design by junior Jane Vasut. 

The students, along with art teacher Natalie Ward, arrived downtown at 5:30 a.m. to grid their area and create the artwork over the next 5 hours. They were judged in the Rising Star student category and placed 2^nd out of 12 entries. See the announcement below:
