New Staff Welcome: Leighia Bellmore, 2nd Grade ELA Teacher

Leighia Bellmore is joining the Rapoport Academy Elementary team as a 2nd Grade ELA Teacher.

Ms. Bellmore moved to Waco, Texas from Chattanooga, TN three years ago in an act of faith. She is coming to RAPS with six years of teaching experience. Prior to RAPS, she taught three years at South Waco Elementary teaching 2nd grade as well as two years teaching first grade and one teaching special education in Chattanooga. After graduating with my bachelor's degree in 2011, Bellmore obtained my master's degree in 2018 in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU.

She is excited about joining RAPS, and looks forward to meeting and working with everyone.
