We are proud to recognize recent graduates Roy Carney and Caedmon Kelley, who recently competed at the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. The event, held June 28–July 2, brought together top students from across the country—and marked the second time Rapoport has had students qualify for nationals.
Roy and Caedmon earned their spot by taking first place in the Marketing competition at the Texas FBLA State Conference this spring. At nationals, they joined over 90 other high-achieving teams in a highly competitive event.
In addition to the competition, the students took part in leadership workshops and explored some of Southern California’s most iconic attractions, including a Dodgers game, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Disneyland.
“Competing at Nationals was an incredible way for these two young men to cap off an exceptional senior year,” said Dustin Ward, Rapoport’s CTE Director and FBLA sponsor. “They represented our school with pride and gained valuable experiences they’ll carry with them into college and beyond.”
We’re proud of Roy and Caedmon’s accomplishments and the example they’ve set for future Rapoport Academy student leaders.
