Welcome to a new year and a new Spring Semester. We have a lot to look forward to in the next year. I hope everyone had a safe and healthy Winter Break. On Monday, teachers and staff will be preparing for students to return to school for this exciting new year.
Remember:
- Monday, January 8, 2024 - teachers and staff return for Staff Development
- Tuesday, January 9, 2024 - students return to school - 8:10 am school starts, please be on time!
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 15 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr Holiday.

Hello Families,
Rapoport Academy Public Schools has so many memories to sprinkle on the pages of the yearbook that the yearbook staff is not able to fit it all into our original 100 page order of the yearbook. This means that on January 8th prices will be increasing to accommodate the additional pages. Please know that anyone who purchases their child’s yearbook prior to January 8th will lock in the current rate ($25+tax for softcover, 29.58+tax for hardcover). After January 8th, we will have to increase our page order to accommodate Senior Ads, which we have seen an increase in sales compared to previous years. This could happen again after the Senior Ad deadline of February 2nd deadline to order senior ads, so ordering your yearbook early ensures you get the best price!
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to email me (jstahl@rapswaco.org). I will be checking it throughout the break, but may not respond as promptly as I normally do. |

Response Needed: Family School Relationship Survey
We need Rapoport Academy parents to participate in our Panorama Family-School Relationships Survey which is designed to gather feedback on various aspects of our school community. Your responses will help us better understand the needs and preferences of our families, allowing us to enhance our programs and services. The survey covers communication, involvement in your child's education, and feedback for improvement. Your honest response is essential in guiding our efforts to create an environment that fosters learning and growth. Each survey should only take 3-5 minutes to complete. There are different surveys for each campus and each is anonymous. Surveys by Campus: Thank you for your time and feedback!

Students, have you set a new fitness or wellness goal for the new year? If you have, there is a free option to download an app to complete fitness and yoga activities. Welcoming Walkthroughs: Parent Feedback Groups
We need YOU to give us feedback on how to make our schools more welcoming! In January, we will host welcoming walkthrough groups for each campus to assess how inviting our schools appear to a diverse community.
Parents will be giving feedback on the school's physical environment, personal interactions with staff, and written communication. The groups will run for no more than an hour and a half. Tuesday, Jan. 16-Quinn Middle School, 9 to 10:30 a.m.-Meyer High School, 1:30 to 3 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 24-Elementary: Pre-K -1st Grade, 9 to 10:30 a.m.-Elementary: 2nd -4th Grade, 1 to 2:30 p.m.Please sign up on Parent Square for the dates and times that work for you!
