Meyer High News

 

Mrs. Stiff's seniors are approaching the finish line on their research papers. Rough drafts are due today, and the final drafts are due Monday, April 27th. Between now and then, students should be revising and editing as well as adding length to their papers. (They were given a calendar for the writing process the first week of March.) Papers will not be accepted after Friday, May 1st.

Mrs. Green is in need of the following items for an upcoming Geometry project.  Could you donate a few of these items please parents and send by next Monday, 4/20?
-Toilet paper rolls
-Paper towel rolls
-small boxes (cereal boxes, kleenex boxes, shoeboxes, etc)
-clean dry veggie/soup cans
-wrapping paper
-packing tape or duck tape

ART - This May we will be having our first ever Paint War to raise money for the Art Department.
All we need is your PLASTIC BOTTLES!  Any bottle will do, but specifically personal size water bottles and 2 liter soda bottles.  Thank you so much for your help

Rapoport's Got Talent Talent Show-The High School Semi-final Talent Show is on Friday, April 17th at 6pm at the Multi-Purpose Building.  See attached flyer.

Attention Senior Parents:

Cap and gown and invitation orders will be delivered during community group on Tuesday, April 21.  Full payment for the order will be due at that time

Prom Information:

Date:  Saturday, May 9th
Time:  8 - 11 pm

Cost:  $15 single/$25 couple

Graduation Information
Date:  Saturday, May 30th
Time:  10 am
Location:  TSTC Student Recreation center

Summer Classes (Dual Credit)
Students interested in taking a dual credit course over the summer should see Mrs. Howard ASAP.
Registration is April 6 - 15th.
