*Dean's List: The Dean's List is an academic honor awarded each grading period. Students must achieve a 90% or higher in each subject in order to earn the distinction. Students are acknowledged at an all-school assembly, receive a certificate, and have their picture posted on the Wall of Fame.
*Parent Academy: Parent Academy is a Rapoport tradition. Each year we invite parents to join us for an evening of "school" where the students are the teachers. That's right -- the students are the teachers! It's great fun and parents get to learn about the topics we are covering in class during the day. We host two Parent Academies each year - Fall Semester and Spring Semester. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
*Visiting Your Child at School: We encourage all parents and guardians to participate and observe student learning, volunteer to help in classrooms or in the cafeteria, and join us for performances. Please remember that we require ALL visitors to check in at the front desk to receive a visitor's pass. Rapoport Academy requires ALL visitors to present a photo indentification card (TX DL or ID) before admittance to campus. Thank you for helping us keep your children safe!
*Enrichment Time: Enrichment is a time that allows us an additional opportunity to take your child’s learning to the next level through projects and various other exciting activities. Students may have a different enrichment teacher than their classroom teacher and they may also have students in their enrichment group that are not in their homeroom. The purpose of this is to increase a greater sense of community across the campus as well as provide them with the chance to be challenged by various students and teachers.
*Rockin' Ravens: At the end of each nine weeks, six students are chosen from each grade level who exemplify our core values: Respect, Responsibilty, Integrity, Creativity, Curiosity, and Hard Work. This is a great honor and something that all of our students work toward.
Flag Ceremony starts promptly at 7:55 each morning. Students who arrive after 8:00 will be counted tardy.
