Friends from College Station
In June 2009, a group of about two dozen youth from A&M Church of Christ in College Station travelled to Waco to volunteer their time and energy toward beautifying Rapoport Academy campuses. This was the second summer that the group has partnered with us to help better serve our students and the East Waco community. The students and their adult leaders worked tirelessly, and always with a smile on their face, for three days in the Waco summer heat. They completed a wide range of projects that helped to prepare our campuses for the new school year. Some of the projects they completed included:

drain

Completing a French drain at the elementary campus

sod

Laying sod at the high school campus

debris

Clearing debris from a Quinn Campus parking lot

garden

Clearing the vegetable garden for future planting

A huge thank you to this fearless corps of volunteers dedicated to keeping Rapoport Academy and East Waco beautiful. We hope to see you back in the summer of 2010!
